D'espairsRay: ファシズム [Facism] | Japanese & English Lyrics

* The lyrics of this song are a whole mess for a lot of reasons, so please read these notes for context.

1. The lyric book in TERRORS only contains the background spoken portion of the lyrics that are spoken in Japanese. Most of the main vocals are excluded and have never been published in an official capacity. Your guess is as good as anyone's as to what Hizumi's saying. If you want to sing along, make shit up, honestly. You might get it right.

2. The lyric book censors the words "Jew (yudayajin)" and "Jewish (yudaya)". I usually uncensor censored words in lyric booklets, but due to the extreme nature of the lyrics, this time I will not.

3. The lyrics of this song feature near direct translations of lines from the antisemitic versions of the Heckerlied, a Germany song which originated with the Baden Revolution and has been adapted into many forms over the years. The lyrics of the D'espairsRay version most closely resemble a version sung by university students in Germany that was preserved in 1937. Further reading (German).

4. The final portion between < > brackets indicates a citation, and is not part of the lyrics.

English

Sharpen your knives on the sidewalk
Slide the knives into the xxxx body
Blood must flow copiously
The xxxx republic can eat shit
When the hour of retribution comes, we are ready for mass murder...

Hang a black pig in the xxx
Throw hand grenades into the parliaments
Blood must flow...
Tear the concubine from the prince's bed
Grease the guillotine with xxx fat
Blood must flow...

* Notes relevant to the translation:

1. The censored words in the first section are "Jewish," and in the second section, "synagogue" and "Jewish". Because of the extreme nature of these lyrics I will not put them directly into the censored portions.

2. The lyrics of this song feature near direct translations of lines from the antisemitic versions of the Heckerlied, a Germany song which originated with the Baden Revolution and has been adapted into many forms over the years. The lyrics of the D'espairsRay version most closely resemble a version sung by university students in Germany that was recorded in 1937. Further reading (German).

3. I am not in the business of censoring art or manipulating translations because of difficult subject matter, but I have to acknowledge the extreme nature of what's being said here, which makes me personally extremely uncomfortable. I have otherwise translated these lines with a balance between replicating the lyrics these were derived from, with modifications where there are differences in the Japanese.

4. The final portion between < > brackets indicates a citation, and is not part of the lyrics.
