2nd awake: 落日 [Rakujitsu]

English
The Setting Sun

The meaning of life The meaning of death

If I look back over my footsteps there are countless scattered corpses They stare intently at me, heads tilted,
When I force open my eyes which I'd tightly closed, not wanting to see anything
I said that I've given up on living Lacking emotions like a broken machine
Happiness seen from the viewpoint of despair is only people who seem dead dressed up in reasons for living

I quietly collapse onto the asphalt The rain ruthlessly erodes my body
Knowing my sins should I be punished? I don't want to "see" anything anymore

I knew that living is pain In the moments I existed Loss An ending A countdown
The finale of death that supported my conclusion is only the tears that spill and a cold sensation

The setting sun dyes things red and shadows, stretching out Will I also live tomorrow fearing the fear of dying?

The meaning of life The meaning of death
