Warugaki: MoGuRo | Japanese & English Lyrics

Japanese
MoGuRo

心見透かすギラつく笑顔は、天使?それとも悪魔の使い?

黒い3ピース黒いハットで合図ち上手、妙に聞き上手。
渡された名刺に綴られた言葉、心の隙間お埋めします。
漂うオーラただ者じゃない。

……私喪黒福造。

Desire

Paradise

Non-reality

The last is reality cruel after all

アタナのその感情は満たされていますか?
心の隙間お埋めします。

…あの約束だけは守って下さい… …

Romaji
MoGuRo

Kokoro misukasu gira tsuku egao wa, tenshi? Soretomo akuma no tsukai?

Kuroi surii piisu kuroi hatto de aizuchi jouzu, myou ni kiki jouzu.
Watasareta meishi ni tojirareta kotoba, kokoro no sukima wo ume shimasu.
Tadayou oura tada mono ja nai.

……Watashi Moguro Fukuzoku.

Desire

Paradise

Non-reality

The last is reality cruel after all

Anata no sono kanjou wa mitasarete imasu ka?
Kokoro no sukima o ume shimasu.

…Ano yakusoku dake wa mamotte kudasai…

English
MoGuRo

Is the dazzling smile that sees through hearts an angel?  Or is it a messenger of the devil?

In a back three-piece suit and a black hat, good with signs*; an unusually good listener.
The words spelled out on the business card that was handed over; they will fill the cracks in your heart.
The aura in the air isn't that of a normal person.

......I'm Moguro Fukuzou**.

Desire

Paradise

Non-reality

The last is reality cruel after all

Are those feelings of yours satisfied?
I will fill the cracks in your heart.

...Please just keep that promise... ...

* This is either wordplay or a typo. It very likely appears to be a typo, but I've translated it literally in case it was intentional. Instead of 合図ち, it's my belief that Nozomi meant 相槌 (both read as "aizuchi"), which is a word to describe the way a person listens in a conversation by frequently vocalizing (linguistically, it's called "back-channeling").
** Moguro Fukuzoku is a character from the anime "Warau Salesman." He's described rather well in this song, but the character grants the wishes of his clients who are then left with terrible consequences.

    1. Very cool :D
I hope to have the other two Warugaki songs up soon, but the way he wrote his lyrics for this band is very slangy and a little difficult!
